1. Water Street Glassworks

We love the non-profit located at 140 Water Street for many reasons, including their drive to assist young students to thrive and succeed in the Benton Harbor Arts District, no matter their situation. The Benton Harbor Arts District ensures that all students, regardless of their educational record, can collaborate with community arts programs.

Whether your interest in glassmaking blossomed from a love of jewelry or dinnerware, you’re sure to find a class that fits your interest. Classics include everything from beginner status to advanced glassblowing. Learn how to depict your favorite furry friend with the Mosaic Pet Portraits class, or create an eye-catching garden piece with the Mosaid Glass Stepping Stone workshop.

2. North Pier Brewing Company

The refreshing outdoor beer garden and taproom located at 670 N Shore Drive is less than two miles from Lake Michigan. Their delicious rotation of craft beers features tastes from hoppy IPAs to unforgettable Belgian-style IPAs, with a wide array in between. Alcohol is intended for adults of legal drinking age only. Please always remember to drink responsibly and in moderation, and never drink and drive.

Tantalizing beer flavors include the Happy Guy, a dry hopper pilsner with Michigan hops and a lemon-citrus aroma, and the Dingy Wicker, with aromas reminiscent of fresh-brewed coffee and easy brown ale with subtle flavors of toffee and toasted malt. Use your delicious beer to wash down mouthwatering combos, like their pretzel and beer cheese combo, which features a soft pretzel and tasty beer cheese.

3. 12 Corners Vineyards

Located at 1201 N Benton Center Road, the highly accommodating vineyard and winery has lots to offer. From tasting rooms to craft beverage festivals, wine, and beer connoisseurs are sure to find an interesting event on the 12 Corners calendar. Specialty events include It’s Time to Wine with musical guest Dan Geib and New Beach Cottage Bubbles in the tasting room.

4. Third Coast Paddling

Pile the family into your 2023 Buick Encore GX Essence and head over to 601 Graham Ave, where you’re sure to find an exciting outdoor watercraft that will thrill the whole family. Just minutes from the Arts District, you can rent many types of watercraft to explore the enchanting wetlands of our great city. Kayak or paddle the bubbling stream of the Paw Paw River all the way through Harbor Shores.

No matter the size or skill level of your family, there’s an outdoor activity to suit your family at Third Coast Paddle.

Whether you spend the day slathered in sunscreen on the river or sipping delicious flavors at the winery, don’t forget to swing by LeValley Chevrolet GMC to see what’s new!
